Dear benefactors and friends of the Shrine:

This painting of St. John Neumann–featured on this year’s novena card–can be seen above the tomb of St. John Neumann here at the Shrine. It was on display in the apse of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome during St. John Neumann’s beatification ceremony in 1963 and was given to the Shrine shortly afterward.
May Christ the Redeemer instill in you and your beloved family the hope and desire that will fulfill you during this time of preparation and cleansing in the Advent Season! We, as devoted followers of St. John Neumann, continue to rely on his prayers to intercede for us and to bring us to a deeper understanding of our relationship with Jesus Christ, Our Savior.
We ask St. John Neumann to bind us all together in prayer and to guide us to follow the will of God as he did in perfect humility throughout his short time on earth.
